Carnival Loulé, is the oldest Carnival in Portugal. Loulé is located in the region Algarve.
This year the Carnival Loulé happens from Sunday to Tuesday and the opening hours are from 3pm to 5:30pm.
Every year the Carnival has a motto and mostly include cars, representation of many associations from the region, a lots of dance schools, giant heads, a lots of figures with satires from the public as politicians and sports figures.
The entrance price is a very simbolic price and the money is reverted for the association which participate and also solidary associations from the region.
On Mondays evening there is a Gala Ball dance where everyone need to dress has the motto of the night, this is an event which represent some event from the moment with a lots of fun and also glamour.
The Carnival is also very conected with other events which are made only at this time of the year, the internationa tournament of sailing of the carnival, the walking-running event of carnival, Rhe regional round of surf, the athletics carnival grand prix or the Vilamoura atlantic tour, are some of the events that are worth to see or participate.
